"Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them..." - Romans 12:6
Andrew Innocent - Director/Chaplain
Andrew was born in Michigan and raised in New York and Orlando, FL. He graduated with a B.S. in Accountancy (2008) and M.S. in Taxation (2009) from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. Always encouraged to be a positive witness for Christ and to help others learn of His love for them, Andrew was actively involved in campus ministry efforts while a student and even after graduation. His passion to minister to students attending Boston area colleges and universities ultimately led him to leave the public accounting profession for full-time campus ministry work. He’s been trained as a STRIDE missionary (2011) and a CAMPUS missionary (2012) in Ann Arbor, MI. Andrew is the third director of STRIDE and has served in this capacity since August 2012. He also is the Seventh-day Adventist Chaplain to MIT - a first at the Institute.
Darlye Élise Innocent - Program Director/Clerk
Darlye serves as a Bible worker and clerk of STRIDE campus ministries. Her life was forever changed when a God sent a group of CAMPUS missionaries to Arizona State University for their spring break mission trip in 2009. Their fervor for God’s word and passion for both living it and sharing it on college campuses ignited a fire within her. Shortly thereafter she attended CAMPUS l.e.a.d.s (Leadership Education And Development Seminars), her first GYC, and started a club on her campus. Health & wellness programs were used to introduce her peers and professors to Jesus. She holds a doctorate in community resources and development from Arizona State University, a medical missionary certificate from Beehive/M.E.E.T Ministries, an MSW from Howard University, and a B.S. in psychology and Spanish studies from Andrews University. Darlye is also the founder of Exceed the Ordinary School of Wellness.
